This building is said to have originally been a Tsukimi den (Moon viewing pavilion) located on the grounds of Takayama Castle. It was dismantled and relocated here, rebuilt as an Ema den (votive picture repository). Thick, square pillars and boat-shaped brackets support the structure's gentle-sloping roof
